Precision Agriculture is continually advancing technologies and tools to help the producer get more bushels from the same land unit with the same or less inputs. On Wednesday January 14, join us in an exploration of – a Precision Agriculture clinic focusing on research on applications of these technologies and tools.
Presentations from leading researchers: Tom Wolf, will provide you with an overview of weather conditions as they relate to spray drift and efficacy. Dr. Olga Walsh, University of Idaho, will speak on Crop Sensors for Precision Agriculture.
Dr. Jeff Schoenau, Professor and Ministry of Agriculture Strategic Research Chair in Soil Science, University of Saskatchewan. Developing variable rate prescriptions.
Derek Rude A.Sc.T., Project Manager, PAMI will discuss how big a role the harvesting operation plays in Precision Agriculture. Lee Moats, a farmer near Riceton, Saskatchewan will speak on his experience using Greenseeker Technology.
